Parking information

There are two parking garages within short (less than ten minutes) walking distance to Walter Library and the Digital Technology Center: Weisman Garage and Church Street Garage. We recommend that visitors use the Weisman garage. During peak parking periods on campus (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), this garage more often has space available than the Church Street Garage.

Direction and rates for these parking garages are as follows:

The Digital Technology Center provides free reserved parking for employees of those companies that belong to its Affiliates Program to attend DTC sponsored seminars, symposia, tutorials, and other events that are being held at Walter Library.

To reserve a parking space for a DTC event at Walter Library, please send an email to events@dtc.umn.edu or call 612-624-9510. Please specify your name, company/organization, contact information, date and time of your arrival, length of your stay, and DTC event you plan on attending. Early reservations are encouraged. For reservations made less than a week prior to the event, we can not guarantee that parking space will be available.
