Professor Nihar Jindahl received award
The paper, "On the Duality of
Gaussian Multiple-Access and Broadcast Channels," published in the IEEE
Transactions on Information Theory, May 2004, co-authored by Professor Nihar
Jindal, Professor Siram Vishwanath (University of Texas, Austin), and
Professor Andrea Goldsmith (Stanford University), has been selected to
receive the IEEE Joint Information Theory/Communications Society Best Paper
Award for 2005. The award recognizes an outstanding paper that addresses
both communications and information theory and that has appeared in either a
Communications Society or Information Theory Society publication. The award
will be presented at the 2005 IEEE International Symposium on Information
Theory (ISIT '05) in Adelaide, Australia.
